Banks Lake 2019

We went to banks lake for 10 nights this year which is the most we have ever stayed in one camping site. Our friends were there for around 7 nights and then the other 3 nights my aunt, uncle, cousin and grandparents came.  Over all it was a awesome time and I had a ton of fun.

Top 5 Highlights (In no particular order)

1. So while our friends were there we built a water slide on a huge sand hill that was awesome! Unfortunately after 2 hours the slide was shut down due to people on the highway taking pictures of the slide and posting it on social media.

2. So when we are at banks lake we go through a LOT of boat gas and we have to get more gas while we are there. Unfortunately the nearest gas station is around a 17 to 30 min drive up the. Thank fully there is a gas station up at the other end of the lake that we can just drive our boat up to and full the boat up while the boat is in the water!! Its awesome!!! Whats even better about it is that there is a store there that sells delicious ice cream. So we made around 2 ice cream / gas trips in our 10 day span.

3. When we were there my best friend had a cool idea to have a dance photo shoot. I must say that it was fun and the  pictures tuned out pretty sinking awesome.

4. Every single year I like always say this but I really love the scenery. Its so amazing! I just love all the rock and the different colors that are in the rock. Truly amazing.

5. We finally got to do something that I have always wanted to do ever since we stated going like 4 years ago. We climbed Steamboat rock. Yes, climbed. Steamboat. Rock.... It was awesome. I highly recommend. Even though its not the longest hike in the world it is awesome. In the middle and end you have a lot of elevation to climb but its worth it, trust me. As I always say no pain no gain. So no hard work no beautiful view. We saw some pretty cool animals like a marmot and deer. Plus, the amazing view.

Over all the weather was not the greatest but an awesome and fun year.
